The purpose of this ministry is to equip and encourage our men to lead as Christ leads them. We want others (our families) to follow us as we follow Christ. This ministry will help you purse God’s plan for you as a man, son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. You can leave a spiritual legacy with eternal value.
· Equip: We often face challenges that hinder spiritual growth and diminish effective leadership. This ministry will seek to come along side our men to help them “grow in the grace and knowledge” of Jesus Christ as it deals specifically with men: financial pressures, leadership in the home, relationship with family and friends, fleeing sexual temptations, and overcoming other sinful strongholds that are common to men in today’s culture. We will do this through monthly gatherings. We will seek to accomplish this through periods of interactive Bible studies. We will seek to accomplish through worship and prayer meetings that coincide with our Bible studies.
· Encourage: We want our men to get connected with one another to develop lasting relationships, grow spiritually and mentally, and benefit from others facing similar challenges. This ministry will seek to hold each other accountable in our Christian walks. We will seek to accomplish this through prayer/accountability partners. We will seek to accomplish through fellowships and outings.
